Sunday, August 27th @ 1:00pm – 4:00pm *with callbacks to follow as needed
We are open to casting all races, body types, and genders. What we are looking for is a vocally talented and dynamic cast of actors. We ask you to be at least 16 at the time of auditions, with the exception of those younger people interested in auditioning for the role of Toby. We ask you to be at least 13 at the time of auditions, but again, we are open to casting any gender and any age for Toby. Parents, please do your research on the role of Toby and the show before bringing your child to auditions. We are also interested in possibly casting Pirelli as a pants role as well.
Please prepare 16-32 bars of any musical theater song that you feel best shows off your talents and range. Keep in mind that our accompanist will be sight-reading your music so please be good to them with that said, please avoid auditioning with a Sondheim song. Try to find something that fits the tone of the show and the character you’re auditioning for.
There is very little dance in this show. We will not be having a dance audition for this show but we may ask more people to hang back and read for us. Acting and comedic ability will be big for this show. Get angry, but also make us laugh.
